Considering the CD you usually install an OS from is around 700mb, a USB stick of the same size should do. If no key is pressed, the computer will continue to boot normally and not load from the CD. My parents asked me to do something about it, so I decided to format the hard-drive and re-install windows. so thanx Varun!
