I either leave it or keep hunting. Since your problem is related to iTunes, not really a hardware problem with your drive, then another suggestion would be to search the iTunes forum for ideas. Restart the computer.   The drivers will be loaded automatically.   Is the issue resolved?   Otherwise, this behavior may be caused by software confliction.
