It's sturdy, the big metal ring around it can be removed easily. I've tried to assign a label but that doesnt work. Very handy for documenting your card readers: in contrast to ListUsbDrives v1.7.8, the displayed info can be transferred into your notes with copy & paste.

Unfortunately, they often do not come with drivers because Windows Me, 2000, XP and Vista all come with generic drivers already installed.
