Hi folks!I also get my images skewed while the previews are well. I just went through all the steps as is, listed above. I found that you must select "Detect Enclosing Box" and set the rotation angle to 0. I do not however stand by the accuracy of this information, for all I know it TWAINBridge might actually do something else. Sadly, nothing seems to work. when previously I had it working perfectly under older versions of OS X. That solved the problem for me, except of course as you said might happen, the buttons on the scanner itself no longer work.

However through further scouting i found this tutorial https://discussions.apple.com/message/12665000?messageID=12665000 on how to scan with the Sane backend to the OSX Image capture.

I've reinstalled and restarted a few times now, and it has completely disappeared. For command line use, restart was not necessary. Thanks. Special steps for use with OSX 10.10 Yosemite do not seem necessary… Hope this helps.

As I said, there is no advantage to me of having to use Image Capture first to scan the image before opening it in Photoshop. I downloaded the direct-link (Step 4) and tried to install this.
